How to Turn One Webinar Into a Month of LinkedIn Posts
A 60-minute webinar usually holds more good content than most teams post in a month. The trick is knowing which moments to pull, how to cut them so they stand on their own, and how to space them out.
Step 1: Get the right file
Ask for the original recording, not just the replay link. If your platform can record the active speaker separately from the shared screen, keep both. A clean file gives you sharper crops and better audio.
Step 2: Get a transcript and skim it
A transcript lets you find the good parts in minutes instead of rewatching the whole hour. Look for answers that make sense without the question, short stories, clear opinions and moments where the speaker says something people would want to repeat.
Step 3: Pick 8 to 12 moments, each with one job
Give every moment a job before you cut it: educate (a useful tip or answer), build trust (a story or point of view that shows who you are) or promote (a reason to register for the next session or watch the replay). A good month mixes all three.
Step 4: Cut each clip so it stands on its own
- Start on the strongest line, not the introduction.
- Take out filler words, false starts and long pauses, without changing what anyone said.
- End on a finished thought. Clips that trail off feel unfinished, even when the point was good.
- Keep most clips between 20 and 60 seconds, with one idea per clip.
Step 5: Frame and caption for a phone
Most people watch on a phone with the sound off. Reframe the clip vertically on the speaker, add captions that are checked against the audio, and put a short headline at the top that tells people why to keep watching. Spell names and industry terms correctly; viewers notice.
Step 6: Write a post that goes deeper
The clip makes the point. The post adds context: why it matters, one example, and a simple next step. Two or three short paragraphs is plenty on LinkedIn.
Step 7: Space it out
Two or three posts a week from one webinar covers a full month. Lead with your most useful clips, put people and stories in the middle, and save the promotion for the week before your next session.
A simple one-month plan
- Week 1: two educational clips and one carousel of the key takeaways.
- Week 2: one story clip from the speaker and one answer from the Q&A.
- Week 3: one more tip and a short post about what attendees asked most.
- Week 4: one clip that shows the value of attending live, plus the registration link for the next session.

Frequently asked questions
How many posts can one webinar make?
A 45 to 60 minute webinar usually supplies 8 to 12 clips, plus a carousel or two of the key takeaways.
Do we need speaker permission?
If the speakers are from outside your company, check your speaker agreement or ask before posting clips. Most speakers are glad for the extra visibility.
Should we post the full replay too?
Yes, link to it. Clips work best as the reason someone watches the replay or registers for the next session.
How long does this take?
Doing it yourself takes several hours per webinar. Cord & Co delivers finished clips and posts within 7 business days.
